How to check if a company has a sponsor licence
- Search the company here, or open the register on gov.uk.
- Match the exact registered name and the town. The register lists legal names, which can differ from the brand on a job advert.
- Read the route and the rating. To sponsor a Skilled Worker visa, the employer needs the route "Skilled Worker", and an A rating to take on new workers.
This checker searches the register people still call the Tier 2 sponsor list.
